Model designation
In YSS-15G-10, YSS identifies the suction strainer, 15G identifies the 60 L/min size, and 10 is the design number. The size code is not itself the flow rate in L/min.

Function and model selection
YSS strainers capture contaminants in the pump suction line. The catalogue describes installation at the suction port or submerged in the tank on the line leading to the pump.
Select the model by the required flow, port thread and installation space. The catalogue specifies petroleum and mineral-based oils, a standard 100 mesh rating and a maximum working temperature of 80 °C.
Confirm the complete model designation and operating conditions before ordering. A suction strainer is a different product from a pressure-line or return-line filter.
