Switch flow through cam movement
A cam depresses the valve spool through the roller mechanism to change the direction of oil flow. The DCG Series uses sub-plate mounting and a two-position, spring-offset arrangement.
The catalogue lists spool types 2, 3 and 8. Select the circuit symbol and roller position together, then check the oil-flow connections at the extended and depressed positions.

Maximum flow is the catalogue ceiling for normal valve changeover. *For valve type 2B8, port T acts as a drain and must connect directly to the reservoir. Its maximum allowable back pressure is 3.5 Kgf/cm².
Confirm roller and spool configuration
Spool type
Types 2B2, 2B3 and 2B8 have different flow connections during roller travel. Use the catalogue diagrams to confirm the required extended, intermediate and depressed conditions.
Check the cam profile, roller travel, mounting dimensions and actuation-force chart for the selected size. Consult Yuken before specifying special seals.
