Release reverse flow with pilot pressure
These check valves permit flow in one direction and block reverse flow until pilot pressure opens the valve. Cracking pressure applies to opening in the free-flow direction.
CPG identifies the pilot controlled check valve. CPDG identifies the decompression type. Both catalogue variants use size 06 sub-plate mounting.
The pilot pressure required for reverse flow depends on circuit pressure and valve type. Check the manufacturer’s pilot-pressure chart for the selected configuration.

*The catalogue gives an approximate rated flow at a free-flow pressure drop of no more than 3 Kgf/cm², fluid specific gravity of 0.85, viscosity of 20 cSt and reference cracking pressure of 0.4 Kgf/cm². This reference condition is separate from the model-code options below. Confirm the selected valve against the catalogue curves.
Choose the drain arrangement
External drain
The E code identifies external drain. The catalogue requires this arrangement when back pressure acts at outlet P1 during reverse flow.
Use the manufacturer’s circuit diagrams to identify P1, P2, pilot and drain connections. Confirm the actual circuit before selecting the drain type.

These are free-flow opening settings, not the pilot pressure needed to open reverse flow. Consult Yuken before specifying special seals for phosphate ester fluid.
