ZG and ZCG deceleration valves
Control actuator speed through cam-operated spool movement. Choose ZG deceleration valves or ZCG models with an integral reverse-flow check.
Match flow to cam movement
These valves regulate flow as a cam moves the spool. In the normally open version, depressing the spool reduces flow. In the normally closed version, the same movement increases flow.
ZG identifies the deceleration valve. ZCG adds an integral check valve for free reverse flow. Yuken lists actuator speed control in machine tools and similar equipment as the principal use.
The optional T configuration adds an adjustable bypass needle valve. This provides a metered path between the ports even when the main spool stops the flow.

Yuken limits the cam angle to 35° and drain-port back pressure to 1 Kgf/cm². The drain pipe must run independently and directly to the tank. Refer to the catalogue drawings for spool travel, port identification and mounting dimensions.
