Yuken pressure control valves

H and HC Type valves are hydraulically damped, direct operated pressure control valves. They respond to pressure sensed internally or through an external pilot connection.
H Type includes low-pressure relief, sequence and unloading functions. HC Type includes counterbalance and sequence-and-check functions, with an integral check valve allowing free reverse flow from the secondary port to the primary port.
The type number identifies the pilot and drain arrangement. Confirm this number with the full model code before selecting a valve or checking a replacement.

The same type number does not always describe the same function across H and HC. Review the corresponding circuit symbol and installation instructions in the catalogue.

The catalogue maximum operating pressure is 210 Kgf/cm². Threaded models require availability confirmation with Yuken. The listed flow ratings must be considered together with pressure characteristics and the selected sub-plate.

The maximum operating-pressure rating is separate from the adjustment range. Check the nominal override characteristics at the required flow.
P identifies the auxiliary pilot option for operation with external pilot pressure below the adjusted pressure. The catalogue excludes adjustment ranges L and M and valve type 1 from this option’s stated application. Confirm the required pilot pressure and model configuration.
An F prefix identifies special seals for phosphate ester type fluids. Consult Yuken before ordering special seals and include fluid details with the enquiry.

Auxiliary pilot configurations use corresponding P sub-plates. For size 06, the catalogue recommends a maximum sub-plate flow of 80 L/min. for HGM-06 and 125 L/min. for HGM-06X, including their P versions. Confirm the complete mounting drawing and port arrangement.
